Four core grades of ribbon are available as follows:

• Wax (Low Scratch Resistance, Generally Papers Only)
• Enhanced Wax (Medium Scratch Resistance, Papers & Synthetics)
• Wax Resin (Good Scratch Resistance, Papers & Synthetics)
• Resin (High Scratch Resistance - Generally Synthetics Only)
